It became the first service provider in Singapore to successfully deploy and commercialize a wireless broadband service using the WBA spectrum (or commonly known as WIMAX). Wireless@SG is a wireless broadband programme developed by IDA as part of its Next Generation National Infocomm Infrastructure initiative. It will be run and developed in the next two years by three local wireless operators who will deploy a wireless broadband network in Singapore. Users can enjoy free, both in-door and outdoor seamless wireless broadband access with speeds of up to 512kbps at most public areas.
Wireless@SG is powered by the network of three wireless operators: iCell, QMax and SingTel. It will be provided free for the first 2 years. Beyond that, the three operators may consider extending the free periods should there be a strong public interest for it. These are the premium wireless broadband services offered to paid customers.
Now I really want a Creative Zen Vision with WiFi ability that allows me to surf the internet, update my blogs and at the same time listen to music.

Sandisk Sansa Connect has offered WiFi capability MP3 player released in CES 2007. Sansa Connect also lets users see Flickr photos (Yahoo owns Flickr) and recommend songs to their buddies, Yahoo! internet radio on the Yahoo network. SanDisk believes its latest move into the wireless world is the next step in the portable media player evolution. And we know know that Zune also has WiFi for inter-zune activities.
Maybe its time for Creative MP3 Players to have one too. Also with the Wireless @ SG in Singapore, products with WiFi is more marketable as seen by the sudden increase in sales for PDA handphones and all.
