Try these settings to convert to .AVI in DivX format:
Output container: Avi
Output video codec: DivX
Output audio: mp3
Select ... : ffmpeg (optional)
Video scale: none
Frame/sec: 25
Bitrate: 768
Samp. freq: 44100
Channels: 2
Bitrate: 128
However, if you are using other convertor, can try using the settings as stated above. From what we know, these settings are quite standard in a video convertor program. Another software we used is the ImTOO encoder. Try it and let us know if otherwise.
