Problem: Every time I select a video or videos in the vado central application and click create movie it says: An error occurred while adding the following file(s):
Failed to load file: filename.AVI. I tried uninstalling, cleaning the registry, and reinstalling and still had the same problem. Also when I click the plus sign it only allows me to add pictures and not video. I also tried to drag in videos from the desktop and they just don't appear to go in.
Solution: This problem is caused by an old " ffdshow" codec file from 2006 version.
Go to Control Panel " Add/Remove Program" and search for such a codec file.
Once you deleted this old "ffdshow" file, the Vado software will loaded the video clips.
