Solution: Creative Zen MX Playlist Problem

Problem:
One of us, KC Meat who had just bought a new ZEN MX was having some odd issues with the playlists. Here's the problem description: First, I tried syncing two playlists from my computer. All of the songs from those playlists uploaded to the player, and two *.m3u playlists were added to the correct folder; the player sees these playlists. When I select either of the playlists, it says "No tracks in this category."

Whenever I select any of the above mentioned playlists, I think it's taking longer than it should to load a playlist (or anything on the player for that matter). It loads and displays all tracks (800+) faster than it loads a playlist with fewer tracks.

Solution:
Installing the latest Zen MX firmware 1.01.06 will resolved this issue as confirmed by KC Meat. See the action here

Now you can get the firmware update 1.02.04, I've downloaded and installed this version and the problem with the playlist is in this version resolved (on the unit itself and not on the SDHC card). You have to upload the playlist (again) with Creative Centrale and then you can play the playlist.
Greetings, Jan (the Netherlands)

The Zen MX is a light weight device. It is very light in weight. It is very easy to operate. The video quality is really very nice. Design-wise, it looks quite similar to the older zen. Memory used is expandable. The one negative point is the small screen. Users cannot easily watch a movie. Features are very satisfying. For more details refer creative zen mx
