BlizzCon kicked off on the 21nd and still no one had a good eye on the Creative’s World Of Warcraft headset.CNet Asia gets a sneak peak at it.
The Creative WOW Headset be a Wireless USB or wired headset with detachable microphone.
The above pictures of the headset are prototypes, and Creative is apparently working on making them look better. They look great already! The microphone input for these Headphones isn’t attached. It basically is an add-on as shown left. This is obviously better than having a dorky looking headset for your times away from your clan.
As WOW.com reported, this Creative headset will come in both Wired and Wireless versions, which ever you may prefer. We believe the wireless headphones are 2.4GHz wireless band for interference-free speech and audio. It’s wireless transmission is through a USB attached dongle (right) which looks much better than that of the HS-1200.
This would be the first headset with THX TruStudio audio technology enhancement. With THX TruStudio Surround, basically X-Fi CMSS 3D with THX’s involvement in it, makes this headset have the “ most advanced virtual 3D surround sound”.

Where the heck are these things? I have waited 4 months now!!!! We were supposed to be able to buy these for Christmas 2009!! COME ON!
