ZiiEye Video @ Shanghai World Expo 2010

Creative Technology made its grand entrance at the Shanghai World Expos Urban Dream Pavilion with two of its technologies: the ZiiEye 360° high-definition video camera and the Gu Le Le electronic drum. Visitors were intrigued with the products, gathering around the booth in droves for a hands-on experience of the products.

This video is in Mandarin (China's national language), obviously because the World Expo 2010 is held in Shanghai, China. So sorry for the majority of our English community, there's no translation to it :( So just enjoy the video...

Although, we are not sure about the commercial value of the Gu Le Le electronic drum but its still quite an innovative idea and product.

Without a doubt, Creative Technologys bustling booth was the highlight at the Urban Dream Pavilion!

There are other innovations soon to be unveiled... but we are looking for some buyers ...anybody?!

It is not for sales yet...just tech showcase...but I won't rule out general takeover offer(s) or rumors on that...

takeover? with mr sim holding 30% of the shares who can buy over? unless he sold all his shares

You only need 50+% to control a company. If someone offers double digits, I believe majority will hand over...In 1996, when Sim and his two partners control more than 40%, takeover rumors still surface...that time was ST and Microsoft...

Wait a min! Their balance sheet does not include much goodwill and the technologies and platforms they have developed over the years...which means Creative is worth much more than US$4.44 per share!!!

For those living in Singapore, if you read mypaper page A4, it states

'The Ministry of Home Affairs plans to spend more than $10 million to extend closed-circuit-television camera coverage to protect strategic public areas'

If Creative can work with the Singapore government with their ZiiEye..

Grandeye is now a subsidiary of Creative...there is a posssibility of them already working with the govt or DSO on this...

Jimmyboy88 said...

grandeye is not a creative subsidiary, creative just has some interest in it about 14% share.

US$4.44 is just the NTA or bookvalue abt S$6. dont forget creative has sold off their HQ, factories, so have to discount those
