There is a front HD and back camera for easy video conferencing, built-in connectivity for internet surfing, micro SD slot for that extra capacity, and last but not least, the X-Fi HD speaker for your movies or music.

They have tie up with Zhong guo Ren Ming jiao Yu Chu ban she. This publisher is directed by china ministry if education to publish textbooks for primary and secondary students in china.

Creative Knowledge China is an associate of creative. you can check press release of hanzpad. it means creative own less than 50% and more than 20%. i suspect china govt, that Dr, chinese pple and/or publisher own the rest which is good. it is likely to secure support from their moe and their directed publisher. there should be govt grant for developing the software and os. this money will not go to creative but will indirectly benefit it. creative can now spend less on r&d. remember anwell tech got hold of hundreds of millions of chinese grant for building solar factories. quite likely their hanzpad will grab a significant portion of the 200 million pieces market. chinese badly need their own os. current digestion of market rally is about there. next wave could see early double digits. good luck!
If it can get the Chinese govt support 30% share is quite lucrative too. It creative focus on just supplying zii chip, then there could be different variation of hanzpad from different manufacturers just like Qualcomm , intel, nvidia, amd etc

Hope Creative can seriously built a state of art tablet. The earlier models failed terribly and horribly. It minimally needs multi touch screen, 3G, wifi and GPS support in order to be decent. Huawei would dominate the China market cos they not only have cheap labours, they also don't respect intellectal property rights and they do lots of reverse engineering and innovate and learn from others. For this, US and the rest of the world suffer. If US and the rest of the world wants their products to compete with China, they need to relook into the intellectal property rights. Remove those incompetitive advantages which can make the products better and cheaper.
hanzpad will have the chinese government support and so will contain the piracy. in china, there's no such thing as intellectual property. they dont care

unfortunately no. i am going to buy their share tomorrow. there's going to be a big rebound. i notice their audio business is all set for rebound. they are still pretty much strong. their new sound cards and headsets are well received.
