To Jimmyboy8 (poster of solution above). I have got to thank you for posting your experience in solving the INF driver issue. The great thing about this solution is that it is so simple!

I have a BlackBerry Storm. Recently, I uninstalled the Desktop Manager thinking that it is conflicting with Nokia PC Suite. Since then even after reinstalling Desktop Manager, I can no longer install my BlackBerry Storm as an MTP Device under Portable Devices in Device Manager.

I have been installing and reinstalling different versions of Windows Media Player, thinking that it might solve the problem.

Luckily, I stumbled upon your post and I am super glad I did.

I highly recommend this as the first solution to MTP issues.

I had a Logitech H330 doing the same on my Xp SP3 notebook. It uses the generic USB AUDIO driver provided by Microsoft so Logitech has no drivers.
The file posted above does not work for XP SP3 - it says a newer version is already installed on the system.

The problem is that Microsoft's OWN usb audio driver is fucked up for some reason, probably with a service pack or another windows update. Another version could help. I have managed to fix it in the following way.

REMEMBER THAT THIS IS FOR STUFF USING THE GENERIC USB AUDIO DRIVER ONLY! (usbaudio.sys)

1. Plug the device into a different PC, where it installs just fine.
2. Search for the file wdma_usb.inf. It should be in C:\WINDOWS\Inf.
3. Copy this file to a pendrive.
4. Plug in the device again in the computer where id didn't work.
5. When prompted to install the driver, chose Install manually, and give the pendrive as a location for search.
(6. If you are not prompted, search for the device with the yellow exclamation mark in the Device manager, right click it and select Update driver)

That did the trick for me!

Before I cannot open it so I reformat it.
but what's happening now is this, all I can see on my screen is

Reload Firmare

whenever I reload firmware MEDIA ERROR is appearing I tried downloading the firmware but upgrading fAiled, anyway I dont know if what Im doing is correct, pls help, I cant use my zen
I dont know if a firmware or driver is what i needed. I have no idea
