Very latecomer to mobile phone market. It is very difficult to earn even a profit in phone market this way. Don't try to win everything, you will never succeed. Just one story: People who own Zii Egg are complaining about the slow progress in OS development. Zii Egg sounds fresh and very exciting a few months ago but is already nothing new compared to what others have unveiled and in a few months' time will start to look outdated. Also, ZMS08 (probably on par or slightly worse than Qualcomm's snapdragon 1.5GHz) has made Zii Egg outdated completely. Focus on mediabook and direct all your resources and MDA's grant on it. In 5yrs' time, there will be hardly any hardcopy books/textbook/assessment and right now only Amazon and B&N are serious competitors. Focus on screen and battery life technology and not too much on excess that people will only need much later on. Lastly, try to at least get Dell (good OEM relationship) to use your Zii for their phone. Acer already uses snapdragon.
